This session will focus on the latest developments in non-state and subnational voluntary climate action and the path to the Baku UN Climate Conference later this (COP29) and beyond. We will explore
the critical role researchers, data analysts, and data providers can play in promoting high integrity climate action. The discussion will feature contributions from: Mr Ian Tout and Mr Tamaki Takao (UNFCCC Secretariat), Prof. Thomas Hale (University of Oxford),
Dr Takeshi Kuramochi (NewClimate Institute) and Dr Luli Pesqueira (WWF).
The session will be moderated by Prof. Birka Wicke and Dr Sander Chan from Radboud University.
