Dear all,
We are excited to announce the launch of our free online course: Explore the European Green Deal: Understanding the European Green Deal – History, challenges, and opportunities.
The European Green Deal, often portrayed as the EU’s ‘man on the moon moment,’ has captured everyone's attention. But what does it entail, and can it live up to its promises?
GreenDeal-NET has developed a free online course (MOOC) consisting of eight modules to help you make sense of the European Green Deal, the paradigms that guide the transition to a low-carbon society, and the challenges the Green Deal faces. The course also offers insights into democratic innovations that could encourage ambitious climate action, legislation to reduce sectoral emissions and the EU’s potential for climate adaptation.
The course is self-paced, meaning students can take it at their own speed. If you are a lector, you can incorporate a few modules in your curriculum, although we of course recommend students to complete the course from start to finish!
Visit our website for more information or click on this link to enroll now.
The course is open to everyone, but it is particularly well suited for people with prior knowledge of EU institutions and policymaking, as well as with a solid understanding of climate- and energy-related issues. Not sure if it’s the right fit? You can take a quiz at the start of the course to test your knowledge levels.
Kind regards,
Sebastian
