The College of Public Policy (CPP) reflects the priority the university places on supporting and contributing to effective policy development that enhances public value nationally, regionally, and globally. The College offers a dynamic research environment exploring policy challenges across a range of areas, including social, environmental, and developmental policy, public administration, higher education, food security, conflict and humanitarian response, and governance.

Position

The College invites applications at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level with a specific focus on environmental policy, global climate governance, and sustainability, to begin in the academic year 2024-25.

Job Role Description

Teach and supervise students primarily in the Master of Public Policy program.
Bring comparative policy analysis and global political economy perspectives into his/her teaching.
Proven research track record in international organizations and national government policies as they have grappled with sustainability issues, broadly defined.
Thorough knowledge of development strategies and global governance is a distinct asset.
Strong methodological skills that they can incorporate into their teaching and research.
Administrative skills and collegial research collaborations.
Demonstrate the ability to combine global perspectives with national and regional concerns.
Familiarity with the country and the region preferred.
