This workshop will assist faculty of any discipline in developing engaging and successful sustainability-focused courses. This is intended for faculty who have not yet engaged with sustainability in their curriculum. Share with your colleagues!
May 9 - Embed the Sustainable Development Goals in Your Course
This session helps educators embed the Sustainable Development Goals into their course by: identifying the SDGs that are most pertinent to the course; developing learning outcomes that will help students work towards the goal(s) and adapting methods of instruction for student engagement in sustainable development.
Jun. 13&20 - Building a Curriculum Development Program for Your Institution: The Piedmont/Ponderosa Model
This workshop will provide faculty leaders with the knowledge, materials and strategies to adapt the time-tested “Sustainability Across the Curriculum” model to their own institutions.
FREE PROGRAM WITH OPTION OF GRANTS
Apr. 12: deadline to apply for the Global Sustainability Across the Curriculum Program Development Support Group 2024
Participants in the support group will engage in guided lively discussions over 6-8 monthly meetings with a cohort of peers from diverse schools to share strategies, allies, and ways to overcome challenges in building strong curriculum development programs. Active participants in the support group will have the opportunity to apply for modest grants (up to $5,000) to help develop their sustainability across the curriculum programs.

We invite you to share your expertise at the AASHE 2024 Conference & Expo (Oct. 27-29 in Anaheim CA) and/or in a virtual education program (webinar, virtual workshop, and online course, etc) throughout the year. We are currently accepting proposals through Friday, April 12. Submit now!
