We headed home from central Pennsylvania yesterday with a detour across the
river to visit a Flagstacking friend, and went by this flag when we headed east
and south from there. The flag is located in a residential area off Union
Deposit Road in the eastern part of Harrisburg, and we initially got within 42
meters of ground zero while stopped in front of #4854 Hawthorn Road, a
two-story brick house set well off the street, with several mature trees on the
lawn. There is a small portico at the entrance tot he house, which has dark
green shutters to go with the dark red brick. That house is on a road that
loops around from Twin Lakes Drive back out to Twin Lakes Drive, and when we
continued around the loop, we actually got within 32 meters.
