I just heard about the sad upcoming ending of GPSgames, but decided I will keep
working on Geovexilla lest anyone catch up with me before the final shutdown.
Yesterday we started our trip up to visit friends in New Kingston, Pennsylvania
via a detour to this flag. We took Rte. 7 through Seven Corners to South Oak
Street, taking that past Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. By coincidence, I
went to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Baltimore and my daughter went to
Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria. Anyway, we continued past the
school to take Seaton Lane and Poplar Drive to the flag, which is located in
the middle of the street just past Timber Lane. Stopping at the northbound
curb, I was 2 meters from the flag. I was parked at a two-story frame house
with a covered porch. There is a carport, enclosed on three sides, at the end
of the driveway well past the back of the house. We continued out to the DC
Beltway and headed into Maryland and then Pennsylvania.
