This was a really easy claim. We drove from Seabrook down I-45 to Galveston in
the morning; just had to pull off the interstate at the Holland Road exit. One
unusual situation is that they are doing road work in the right lane of the
southbound side of the interstate, so that lane is coned off, but it didn't
interfere with off ramp access. Anyway, we took the ramp to the stop sign at
the bottom, crossed over Holland Road to the loop going past the Buc-ee’s gas
station. For those not familiar, Buc-ee’s is a Texas chain of gas stations and
convenience stores, much beloved down here. Driving around the loop road, at
the first entrance to the station, the flag was in the righthand lane, so we
got right to ground zero as we drove over it. Continued on to reenter the
interstate and onward to Galveston, where we spent a hot, windy day at the
beach.
