What is and HOW TO USE this distribution list

https://groups.google.com/g/geotechnical-engineering-education is a distribution list of news and discussions related to Geotechnical Engineering Education, managed by the ISSMGE Technical Committee TC306 "Geo-Engineering Education".

• Who can see the list and its conversations?
  Anyone on the web
• Who can join the list?
  Anyone on the web (with a Google account) can ask, but to become a member he/she has to be accepted by the list managers
• Who can post messages?
  Only the members of the list
• Who can view the names of the list members?
  Only the members of the list
• Who can view the email addresses of the list members?
  Only the list managers

TO BECOME A MEMBER of this list, i.e., to start sending messages to (and receiving messages from) the list, you need to:

• sign in the Google Account associated with the email you want to use to send and receive messages
• go to https://groups.google.com/g/geotechnical-engineering-education
• click on the "Ask to join the group" icon
• send the request writing your reason for joining
• wait for the list managers to approve your request

The easiest way for MEMBERS to send messages to the list is to use their usual mail server addressing the message to:
geotechnical-engi...@googlegroups.com

Alternatively, members can start a "new conversation" on the web page of the list (https://groups.google.com/g/geotechnical-engineering-education)

To unsubscribe from the list and stop receiving emails from it, members can go to their membership setting and click on the "Leave group" icon, or simply send an email to geotechnical-engineerin...@googlegroups.com.
