PhD position: Regional multi-indicator assessment for livelihood resilience
We are recruiting a PhD researcher within the Christian-Doppler Laboratory
GEOHUM,
a collaborative research lab with Doctors without Borders MSF at
the Department
of Geoinformatics, Paris Lodron University of Salzburg.
Topics for your PhD:

Develop a reproducible multi-indicator approach for integrated geospatial assessment of regional climate change adaptation
-
Explore data quality and uncertainty in modelling hydro-social and livelihood resilience
-
Design multi-hazard analyses to support humanitarian operations
Your profile:
-
MSc degree in geoinformatics, remote sensing, geography or related fields
-
Background in hydrology or climatology is an asset
-
Experience in indicator development
-
Basic programming skills (Python, R)
-
Interest in scientific work and publishing
-
Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English language
