We are currently looking for a Nautical Cartographer (f/m/d) to join our team full-time at our Vienna office, supporting the development of our nautical chart portfolio. This position is open to both experienced professionals and early-career applicants in cartography, hydrography, or geoinformatics.

Nautical Cartographer (f/m/d)

 

Your Tasks

• Process and edit hydrographic data (ENC – Electronic Navigational Chart)
• Create and update printed and digital nautical charts using ArcGIS Pro
• Maintain and manage spatial databases
• Support the transition to an ArcGIS Pro (ArcGIS Maritime)-based production environment
• Learn and apply international standards in nautical cartography and internal workflows
  
  

Your Profile

Required:

• Solid experience with ArcGIS Pro
• Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g. PostgreSQL/PostGIS)
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written (German is a plus)

-          Commitment, structured working style, and ability to maintain an overview under pressure

Preferred:

• Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences, preferably in geosciences or geoinformatics
• Training in CAT-B Nautical Cartography, Geomac, or an equivalent certified program
• Knowledge of FME, Python or Esri ModelBuilder
• Experience with ENC standards (S-57/S-101)
• Academic or professional background in hydrography, cartography, or geoinformatics
• Interest in sailing, navigation, or marine geography
