Dear all,

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join the Sinergise / Planet team as a Geospatial Software Engineer!

This role is a unique chance to work on the data backbone of major European initiatives, including the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem and Digital Twin initiatives.

About the Role

Our team is mainly responsible for the data provisioning of the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem. In practical terms, this involves building automated pipelines that process and serve massive amounts of Sentinel and added-value data (such as CLMS) to users.

We are looking for someone who is strong in Python and comfortable with cloud-native data.

If you have experience with Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFFs (COGs), SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC), and building scalable services, you'll fit right in with our diverse mix of software engineers and scientists.

Location & Details
Location: Graz, Austria
Type: Hybrid role (3 days onsite)
Contract: Initially for 1 year (renewable)
