Job Summary

You will be responsible for providing product support, content development and training for Trimble eCognition® software in addition to other Geospatial products as needed.  

This position is being offered at Trimble’s offices in Stuttgart, Raunheim or Munich, but for an appropriate candidate other locations would be considered. 

What You'll Do

Success in this position will see you providing timely technical support and increasing customer satisfaction of our products. On a daily basis this will include: 

  • Provide advanced technical product assistance on problems of diverse scope, and effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues

  • Develop technical communications in multiple media formats, including digital documents and videos

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering with content development or testing and troubleshooting of product issues 

  • Deliver training to customers and resellers virtually and occasionally in-person (requiring up to 10% international travel)

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

You’ll need a passion for problem solving and helping people. Strong collaboration, planning, troubleshooting, and analytical skills a must. 

  • A degree in a field of study such as Remote Sensing, Geomatics, GIS, or significant experience in these fields

  • Experience with Remote Sensing software (ideally eCognition)

  • Effective decision-making and the ability to work independently 

  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in the English language

  • Proven ability to achieve results

  • Experience and competency with other Trimble Geospatial equipment and/or software would be a plus (e.g. Terrestrial Scanners, Mobile Mapping Systems, Survey and/or GIS products)
