关于postgresql

为了得到常用坐标系统的WTK表示，我下载了postgresql，解压缩后运行bin\pgAdmin3.exe,没发现任何数据库。呵呵，我以前只用过SQLite，不知道如何用postgresql，请问如何能从中看到坐标系统的WTK表示啊？

用的8.4，原来下载的是非安装版，后来下了一个安装版，在pgAdmin里可以看到一个本地服务器，但里面还是什么也没有～

是不是还要下个postgis的插件啊？貌似这个我没有下过～

刚才到postgis的主页看了一下，貌似只有for8.3版的postgis安装文件，我下了装在8.4下好像有问题，看来哟啊卸掉8.4装8.3了～

已经装好了8.3版的postgresql，通过Stack Builder装了1.3.6版的postgis，在pgAdmin里能看到有postgis的数据库，但怎么才能看到WTK啊？
