Hi all!

I just released GeoScript Groovy 1.8.0.  This release is built on Groovy 2.4.7, GeoTools 16.0, and the Java Topology Suite 1.13 and requires Java 8.

Cheers,
Jared

Hey Jared,

(Belated) Congrats on another fine release.   ;-)

Here's a question for ya,  remember all that modular stuff you
did a while back.   Was that idea abandoned or can we do that
now?    Just curious...

Take care,
--scottie

Thanks!

I am working on getting the modular branch up to date.  I let it slide over the summer because it was too nice outside.  I would love some feed back on the modules themselves.  Are they too modular or not modular enough?

Also, I am thinking about starting a GeoScript cookbook (initially for Groovy) kind of like the GDAL/OGR Python cookbook (https://pcjericks.github.io/py-gdalogr-cookbook/) some coworkers and I did years ago.  I am tempted to use asciidoctor with gradle and have all of the code snippets unit tested.
