Importing Geocaches different than traditional

Dear Support team,
right now, i like to use Geoscout on my windows Mobile 6.5 phone. Nevertheless, everytime when i am looking for caches during travel, i am only allowed to look for traditional ones. Thus, in the import caches --> nearest to position --> selection criteria dialog, the box to select types is greyed and unchangeable.
What can i do to overcome this setting? If it is fixed by default: Can you change the property of the selection field, since the groundspeak API allows to search for every type of caches. Finally, if you dont have the time or will to change this setting: Is there the possibility to get the source code of GeoScout in order to inherit changes?
