Good afternoon Rescue Partners,
I hope this email finds you well! This DESPERATE plea is for Roxi a 2yo FULLY VETTED female weighing 31lbs. Roxi originally came to us on September 7th of 2022. She has spent the last year in and out of our shelter at no fault of her own.
Roxi’s previous owner let her and her siblings loose repeatedly. They would be in our custody for months at a time before being reclaimed. They would then be gone for a few days just to come right back to us.
Roxi is very friendly and outgoing. She takes treats gently but is very picky and only wants the softest treats. She is good with other dogs and great with people! She can be a little hyper when she first leaves the kennel, but she wears herself out quickly. She LOVES squeaky toys and will throw them in the air to play catch with herself. She happily obliges to us checking her teeth, paws, and tugging slightly on her ears and tail. She even graciously allowed me to dress her up in a pumpkin costume for a mini photoshoot. She has quickly become a staff favorite, and like her bandana says, witches love her.

Roxi has come to acknowledge our shelter as her home and is doing well here, but a dog’s life should never get to that point. She has spent a substantial amount of her life confined to a kennel, but in her eyes she is fed, watered, walked, and pet every single day so what’s not to love.
All of her siblings have either been adopted or gone to rescue, and while we love that she is comfortable with us, she deserves a true home to call her own.
