Hey guys -- A really interesting opportunity and idea in the forwarded email below. It's completely free to sign-up and it seems like it could provide students with interesting opportunities!

Check it out below! (I'm going to stop promising that this is my last email...)

Hi William,

Hope all's going well! My name's Tony - I'm the co-founder of a startup called TestTracks (www.testtracks.com), and we are currently reaching out to campus leaders and organizations to discuss the launch of our Private Beta at Georgetown, Harvard, and MIT this June. Throughout the Beta, we'll offer students the ability to build professional experience with industry-leading companies. If you have a minute, we'd appreciate your help in letting your members know about the program.

In short, TestTracks is an online platform that allows students to test drive different careers, companies and industries to help students discover where they want to go after graduation (below is a more in-depth description). We are launching our Private Beta this June, and given the companies we will have onboard (ranging from the Consulting and Government to the Entertainment and Media industries), we are looking to bring on a crop of motivated, career-focused students. If you're interested, would you be able to share the below email with your members to let them know about TestTracks and how they can join the Private Beta?

If you have any thoughts you'd like to share, or if you have a few questions, I’m always available for a Google Hangout or phone call (917-727-9163), or you can always email me.

Thanks for your help and best,

Tony

Email for members:

Hi all,

My name is Tony - I graduated from Harvard in 2011 and I'm the co-founder of TestTracks (www.testtracks.com), a company that works to help college students discover what they want to do after graduation and helps them build the professional experience necessary to land their dream job. We're launching a Private Beta on June 2nd with Georgetown, Harvard, and MIT, and we would like to extend you an invitation to register on our site.

In short, TestTracks is an online platform that allows you to test drive careers, companies and industries, without ever leaving your dorm room. On TestTracks, you have the opportunity to do microinternships, or short, 1-20 hour projects that you lead on behalf of a top-tier company currently looking to hire. Here's how it works:
  • Work with top-level companies and build first-hand experience in their industries
  • The work you do is akin to what you would be doing as a first-year hire, meaning you get real experience in a real role - plus the chance to impress a competitive company
  • You'll receive quantitative ratings and qualitative reviews from the companies you work with, building a TrackRecord of proven experience you can share as part of your resume
  • Finally, microinternships are paid, so you'll receive payment in addition to your reviews every time you submit new work
Our Private Beta launches on June 2nd and runs throughout the summer. Register now to reserve one of the Private Beta slots at www.testtracks.com

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to reach out to me at tony....@testtracks.com - I'd love to answer your questions and hear your thoughts!

Here's to a great summer,

Tony Meyer
