SIG, come join up and hear about a completely different aspect of surgery than anything we have heard this
year!

a talk by Dr. Deidre Byrne is co-sponsored by:

Dr. Byrne is a modern-day renaissance woman! She is a religious Catholic sister, double board certified in Family Medicine and General Surgery and a colonel in the U.S. Army. She has done mission work on most continents (in countries like Africa, India, Jerusalum, Korea, Mexico and the United States) for a number of years prior to entering the convent and currently serves the immigrant, homeless, and refugee populations at the Spanish Catholic Center in Mt Pleasant, DC.  She is also a Georgetown University School of Medicine alumnus.  

You don't want to miss this talk!
