GeoTIFF Export - no updated version shown and often not clipped?

Hello Georefencers,

to get better georeferenced Versions of my own maps i add more new controlpoints later and then I want to start export a new Version of the GeoTIFF. Often it was shown that I have to export the old version because of time and date informations.

Also exported GeoTIFFs are not clipped. The edge with Copyrights informations and svaninformations are still there. Is this a protection?
