Bonjour la communauté,
C'est avec plaisir que je vous annonce la sortie officielle du nouveau module Analytics, Analytics 2.0.0.
J'avais déjà écrit un post annonçant son arrivée prochaine. Nous avons travaillé dessus durant le Community Meeting en Ariège fin mars. Le voilà !
Il s'agit déjà d'un travail communautaire.
Vous nous avez entendu, Maël Reboux et moi, en parler aux geOcom 2023, 2024. Je vous avais présenté mon état d'avancement au geOcom 2025.
Durant sa réalisation, sur un financement de geo2france, j'ai consulté plusieurs personnes, plusieurs organismes, pour leurs avis, besoins et idées. Merci aux équipes de geo2france, CRAIG, Camptocamp, Rennes Métropole pour ces échanges.
Florian Necas, CamptoCamp, a implémenté le support ogcapi features dans GeoServer, sur un financement de la MEL.
Durant ce community meeting 2026, Landry Breuil, du CRAIG, a implémenté la recette Ansible pour le déploiement du module. Emilien Devos, Camptocamp, a repris la chart Helm et l'a intégrée dans https://github.com/georchestra/helm-charts. En passant, nous avons identifié plusieurs soucis, réglés dans la foulée. Fabrice Phung, geoBretagne, a aussi donné un coup de main, sur des explorations de dashboard sous Superset (pas incluses dans cette release, pas encore).
C'est comme ça que je l'espérais, un travail collectif. Le financement initial par geo2france et la MEL a permis de démarrer le projet, avec le support des requêtes OGC (Geoserver, mais aussi Mapserver et mapproxy) mais on peut aller bien plus loin, collecter des informations d'usage sur les autres briques de la plateforme.
Je vous invite à vous l'approprier, et venir apporter vos contributions.
Pour aborder ce nouveau module, vous disposez déjà d'un [ticket de blog(https://www.georchestra.org/blog/2026/01/29/new-analytics-module-fr/), d'une entrée dans la documentation geOrchestra(https://docs.georchestra.org/analytics/) et du repo sur github(https://github.com/georchestra/analytics/) bien sûr. On proposera sans doute bientôt un webinaire de présentation du module. Et je ferai une présentation au geOcom 2026.
Et bien sûr, vous pouvez poser vos question, faire vos retours, sur la mailing list, le canal georchestra sur Matrix, les tickets sur le repo github.
Enfin, merci pour votre patience, l'arrivée de cette release a tardé, notamment car un congé sabbatique s'est intercalé en chemin.

Hello everyone,
I'm pleased to announce the official release of the new Analytics module, Analytics 2.0.0.
I had already written a post announcing its upcoming release. We worked on it during the Community Meeting in Ariège at the end of March. And here it is!
This is a true community project. You heard Maël Reboux and me talk about it at geOcom 2023 and 2024. I presented my progress at geOcom 2025. During its development, funded by geo2france, I consulted with several people and organizations for their opinions, needs, and ideas. Thank you to the teams at geo2france, CRAIG, Camptocamp, and Rennes Métropole for these discussions. Florian Necas, from CamptoCamp, implemented OGC feature support in GeoServer, funded by the MEL (Lille European Metropolis).
During this 2026 community meeting, Landry Breuil, from CRAIG (Regional Center for Information and Guidance on GeoServer), implemented the Ansible recipe for deploying the module. Emilien Devos, also from CamptoCamp, took the Helm chart and integrated it into https://github.com/georchestra/helm-charts. Along the way, we identified several issues, which were resolved immediately. Fabrice Phung, from geoBretagne, also lent a hand with dashboard explorations using Superset (not included in this release, not yet).
This is exactly how I hoped for it: a collaborative effort. The initial funding from geo2france and the MEL allowed us to launch the project, with support for OGC queries (GeoServer, but also MapServer and MapProxy), but we can go much further, collecting usage data on the other components of the platform. I encourage you to make it your own and contribute your ideas.
To get started with this new module, you already have a blog post (https://www.georchestra.org/blog/2026/01/29/new-analytics-module-en/), an entry in the geOrchestra documentation (https://docs.georchestra.org/analytics/), and the GitHub repository (https://github.com/georchestra/analytics/), of course. We will likely be offering a webinar to present the module soon. And I will be giving a presentation at geOcom 2026.
And of course, you can ask questions and provide feedback on the mailing list, the georchestra channel on Matrix, and the issues on the GitHub repository.
Finally, thank you for your patience. This release was late to come, partly due to a sabbatical leave, sorry.
