Bonjour à tous.tes,
Un petit point/rappel par rapport aux récentes annonces. La
communauté geOrchestra organise deux évènements par an : un
community meeting d'hiver et sa conférence annuelle, le geocom, en
mai/juin.
La participation à ces deux évènements est gratuite. Vous
n'aurez en charge que vos frais personnels : déplacement,
logement, repas.
Cette année :
19 au 21 mars 2024 : un community meeting (anciennement
appelé codesprint) en Ariège
Il se tient en principe en hiver. Sans être uniquement focalisé sur le code, il s'agit quand même d'une rencontre assez technique où nous nous retrouvons afin de faire avancer concrètement le projet. En sortie de cet évènement, notre objectif est clairement d'avoir produit des livrables (doc, code, stratégie). Pour une idée de ce qu'on peut y faire, voir le bilan du community meeting 2023, où nous avons par exemple travaillé sur le site web, la doc, le nouveau header geOrchestra, la chart helm pour un déploiement dans kubernetes. Du technique et du moins technique. En effectifs relativement restreints, en général, on est une vingtaine de personnes environ.
Cette année, il aura lieu en Ariège du 19 au 21 mars 2024, au Vallon d'Aïga. C'est un lieu un peu isolé, entouré de montagne, on devrait y être bien. Nous serons en mode "résidence" (pension complète).

17 au 19 juin 2024 : la conférence geOrchestra, le
geocom à Lille
Rencontre annuelle des utilisateurs et développeurs de geOrchestra, elle s'adresse à toutes les personnes s'intéressant de près ou de loin au projet geOrchestra.
C'est l'occasion de partager tous ensemble nos réalisations durant l'année écoulée, les avancées du projet, discuter des perspectives. Le tout dans l'ambiance détendue et informelle propre au projet.
On y trouve notamment :
- un panorama des plateformes geOrchestra où chacun peut présenter les nouveautés de sa plateforme
- les actualités geOrchestra (nouveaux outils, enjeux du moment, perspectives)
- des moments de réflexion collective
Les deux jours de conférence sont en général suivis de 2 jours de community sprint, sur le même mode que le community meeting d'hiver.
Le geocom se tiendra cette année à Lille, avec le sponsor de la Métropole Européenne de Lille (MEL). Je vous invite à retrouver toutes les infos dans le mail de François du 23 janvier.

Hello everyone,
A quick clarification/reminder regarding recent announcements. The
geOrchestra community organizes two events per year: a
winter community meeting and its annual conference, geocom, in
May/June.
No registration fee.
This year :
March 19 to 21, 2024: a community meeting
(formerly called codesprint) in Ariège
It is generally held in winter. Without being solely focused on
the code, it is still a fairly technical meeting where we meet in
order to concretely move the project forward. At the end of this
event, our objective is clearly to have produced deliverables
(doc, code, strategy). For an idea of what we can do there, see
the results of the 2023 community meeting, where we, for instance,
worked on the website, the doc, the new geOrchestra header, the
helm chart for deployment in Kubernetes. Technical and less
technical. In relatively small numbers, generally there are around
twenty people.
This year, it will take place in Ariège from March 19 to 21, 2024,
in Vallon d'Aïga.
It's a somewhat isolated place, surrounded by mountains, we should
be fine there. We will be in “residence” mode (full board).
For logistical details, I invite you to refer to my email of
January 22.

June 17 to 19, 2024: the geOrchestra conference,
geocom in Lille
Annual meeting of geOrchestra users and developers, it is aimed at
all people who are directly or indirectly interested in the
geOrchestra project.
This is an opportunity to share together our achievements over the
past year, the progress of the project, and discuss prospects. All
in the relaxed and informal atmosphere specific to the project.
There we find in particular:
- a panorama of geOrchestra platforms where everyone can present the new features of their platform
- geOrchestra news (new tools, current issues, perspectives)
- moments of collective reflection
The two days of conference are generally followed by 2 days of
community sprint, in the same mode as the winter community
meeting.
The geocom will be held this year in Lille, sponsored by the Lille
European Metropolis. I invite you to find all the information in
François' email of January 23.
