We are excited to announce the release of GeoServer 2.28, a milestone update that delivers substantial improvements across performance, security, styling, image processing, and interoperability. To help the community explore the new capabilities and prepare for upcoming changes, we are hosting a free public webinar.
During this session, Andrea Aime will present:

• The migration to the new Eclipse ImageN image processing engine
• Updates to attribute restrictions, now easier to define and enforce
• Enhancements to legend graphics when using SE functions (Recode, Interpolate, Categorize)
• Modernized OIDC / OAuth2 authentication modules
• Important security fixes included in this release
• How these upgrades contribute to the long‑term GeoServer 3 roadmap
