The shortcuts on your keyboard allow users to conduct many tasks quickly. The Windows button is one of the most convenient keyboard shortcuts or a singular key. However, users run into trouble when that stops working. How and why does that happen? Besides, how can you fix the Windows key not working? Let's find out.
I am attempting to install a couple of printers on my Windows 10 Ver 1909 system. I was able to install one successfully but when I click the "Add A Printer" button to do a second device, the button does nothing. Anyone else seen this?
However, with the latest Windows 11 update: 10.0.25211 Build 25211, I can no longer pull up the Start 11 menu with the physical start button on my keyboard (neither work), it only opens the default start menu. Clicking the button does work, however. This is annoying as I've really become accustomed to this menu, and it's the only thing keeping me sane on windows 11.
So while moving my case i accidentally turned off my PC. Luckily i lost nothing but i found it a bit annoying. Is there a way to make it so when you press the power button while the PC is on it does nothing?
Same problem i facing but i got information from here it's really helpful to follow the answers from Microsoft community here link: -us/windows/forum/windows_10-start/windows-10-start-button-not-worki... ...Thanks
Why would I use them as triggers?
That way I could use the Red button to quit apps instead of almost doing nothing and the Green button to expand windows to full screen and maybe revert to the previous size if possible just like Windows.
The easiest way to fix most Windows issues is to reboot your computer. The next best thing you can do to resolve issues with the Windows 11 Start menu is to restart Windows Explorer. Right-click the Windows Start button (or press Ctrl + Alt + Del) and select Task Manager. In the Processes tab, right-click Windows Explorer and select Restart. If that doesn't work, try killing the process with End Task instead. To restart the process, go to File > Run new task, enter explorer.exe, and click OK.
