List of possible values returned by geoplugin_regionName() (specifically GB, but any indication of ISO definition would be useful)

Is there a published list anywhere of the possible values geoplugin_regionName() or regionCode() will return for the UK, or are they the ISO_3166-2:GB second-level subdivisions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:GB locations?
