Send Finalized Form - Error: Connection Timeout

I'm not sure why but every time I send the forms to my server, it gives me the following message:

Upload Results

Form Name - Error: Connection Timeout

I think I'm not connecting with my tablet to my server, but I don't know why because I've specified the server URL, username, and password that is registered on the Site Access of the ODK Aggregate web interface.

I guess I'm just having difficulties getting the app setup figured out to communicate with my server.

Hey is your server configured in the general settings menu?

If so can you provide a like so I can check they syntax.

The server is not reachable via the web I get a "Server not found in the browser" My guess is that the Aggregate server you are using is down? Could this be a fire wall issue?

Thanks for checking Jon. I had someone else at my office look at it and we figured it out.I'm not great with networks, and apparently I was using an internal IP address that couldn't be accessed from the outside. My tablet was connected to a public wifi, but I was logged on to the Aggregate from the inside. It works great now that I got my wifi connected to the internal wifi network.

I'm also getting the same problem here, whenever i tried to access the form from the geoodk it gives the error stating:

Error Getting Form List:

Form listed failed. Error:

org.opendatakit.httpclientandroidlib.conn.ConnectTimeoutException: Connect to 192.168.1.205:80 timed out while accessing http://192.168.1.205/ODKAggregate/formList.

and while sending the data it gives the error: Error Connection Time out.

I would like to know where am i going wrong or what is the problem here?

That IP address looks like it is a local IP, the only way your device could access that is if you device is on the same network. One way to check that would to simply check in a web browser if you can see the Aggregate system (http://192.168.1.205/ODKAggregate) If not then that is definitely the issue.

Do you resolve this you can you confirm what the issue was?

I have the similar problem here. The interesting part is that I created two instances for ODK, one is working properly but the other one doesnt work it is just giving this error of Connection Timeout. I thought the problem could be that am running on a local IP but the question is why the other one works properly?
