Position Description

• GIS Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• GIS Analyst to provide geospatial, GEOINT, and cartographic support at the request of customers. This candidate will also provide support through the generating and updating of geodatabases and transformation of data using Feature Manipulation Engine.

 Required Technical Skills and Experience

• BS in Geography or related discipline.
• 2 - 5 years experience (addition experience considered).
• ArcGIS experience, including geodatabase management skills, Feature Manipulation Engine.

Desired Technical Skills and Experience

• Python knowledge and experience a plus.
• Experience with Web and database technologies.

Desired Personal Qualities

• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.
• Strong collaboration skills: passionately curious, modestly confident, and mildly obsessed about making a difference.

 Security Clearance Requirements

• Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. Government security clearances

 Primary Work Location

• Alexandria, Virginia
