GeoBases query incorrectly returning "Earth"

Hello,

given coordinates as the input, I am using the GeoBases library written in Python to retrieve geographical data stored in the GeoNames free dump files. Specifically, I am trying to get data from the 0 longitude and 0 latitude coordinates. What I should receive at this coordinates is the North Atlantic Ocean, however, what I actually receive is a feature with the name "Earth", and no administrative division data.

Therefore, I would like to ask why I am not receiving the correct data at this (0, 0) point.

For this use case you will have to use the webservice:
http://api.geonames.org/ocean?lat=0&lng=0&username=demo
