SlicerMorph workshop 6-10 july at University of Copenhagen, Denmark

Dear geomorphers,

Registration is now open for a free one-week course on 3D Morphometrics and Image Analysis with SlicerMorph, led by Murat Maga at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. This intense workshop be taught using the open-source software 3D Slicer and the SlicerMorph morphometrics toolkit for statistical shape analysis. Additional course topics include use of 3D specimen repositories to obtain data, tools and methods for collaboration and reproducible research (git and github), and how to bridge 3D Slicer with geomorph for domain specific inferential analysis. Note that this course focuses on volumetric (e.g., CT) 3D datasets, but is equally applicable to image data from 3D surface scanners, MRI, and photogrammetry.

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on training in the comprehensive 3D Slicer visualization suite, as well as learning convenient options to import/export data with geomorph.
