distortion digitizing images in 2D (digitize2d)

When placing landmarks in digitize2d() my landmarks only on the left side of the image are being skewed right. This is not a problem with placing landmarks on the right side of my image.

When I place a landmark, the 'blue cursor' points to where I placed the landmark but the 'red dot' gets pushed right.

See photo below.

I am wondering if this is a problem with my photographs or geomorph?

I solved the issue. I was using a macbook air with resolution set to 'best for display' originally.

I switched machines to an imac and changed the display settings to a 2048X1152 resolution.
