I thought this might interest some folks on this list—a Coursera class about mapping!

The class starts tomorrow (July 17th), and here's the class description:

"Learn how advances in geospatial technology and analytical methods have changed how we do everything, and discover how to make maps and analyze geographic patterns using the latest tools."
