Greetings Civic Hackers!
Our summer campaign, the Great American Civic Hack is up and running.
You are invited to participate by forking code, working issues and submitting pull requests. There are seven open source, civic software projects with national impact that need help from talented coders, designers, writers and testers.

Be sure to also add your local civic hacking groups and favorite projects to the IdealScale so we can know and talk about what other awesome civic hacks are taking place this summer.
We’re producing a “leader board” to track and report on our collective progress. We created some fun prizes to recognize project, groups and individuals for their civic coding efforts, like most issues closed, pulls merged, contributors and the like.
