well for my university couse I have basically got to investigate loci.
I have chosen to tackle the ladder problem - a painter is on a ladder
which is rested against a wall. The ladder begins to slip down the
wall what is the locus of his path?

I am able to takle this problem using Cabri Geometre but I need to
further investigate the problem in some way. I have thought of making
the ladder in two halves and see the mans locus on different points on
the ladder.
If anyone has any ideas of what I could do I would be most grateful.
