A cycloid is the locus of a point on a rigid circle rolling on a fixed rigid straight edge, and, an involute is the locus of a point on a rigid straight edge rolling on a fixed rigid circle.
So, find the parameterization transformation of an involute starting from the standard form of a cycloid and vice-versa. I believe this is possible due to arc length/rotation linearity in corresponding situations.
