Help laying out the net area(?) of a shape

Hi guys, I've been looking on youtube and google trying to figure out how to take this 3D model I made and turn it into a flat pattern to be made out of fabric. Any help with the formula and how to solve this would be extremely appreciated. R represent the radius, and units are in inches.
