A fairly fresh version of ClifFred has been fixed, tested and uploaded to

after investigation of a bug report from KN (thanks!) revealed that I had
(1) programmed a dud inner product and omitted to test it;
(2) unwittingly corrupted the product engine of the new version;
(3) failed to test or post the new version 16 months ago.
Version 1.2 introduces some extra functions, streamlines specifications
(which may necessitate occasional changes to existing programs), and attempts
to facilitate comparisons between competing packages via wrappers.
It is intended to provide wrappers for further packages in future;
although meaningful comparisons are hindered by their divergent design
targets and specification of subsidiary operators.
