at a wireless talk last week, I learned that Intel's newest cards
either do already or will do 'multicomm'. Which means one wifi card
that does 802.11a,b,g,n, and WiMax and GPS. So I think laptops are
going to start having GPS as a somewhat standard option.

also, it seems to me there is a point where enough density exists that
new access points can be located and recorded in geomena without any
GPS assistance at all.
