Can I update attribute types for a dataset with Json?

Hi,

There is an example on how to update attribute types for a given
dataset in the documentation. http://geocommons.com/help/Data_API

Can this be done with Json? If so would the format be like the example
below?

attributes : [
{'name': name1, 'type': type }

]

At the moment that is not supported. It is best to post things in the
