Feature Request - List centered on map location

Since I am new to this forum, let me first state that geohunter is by
far the best geocaching app on the android platform. I can not
understand how users of other apps can stand caching without the
ability to jump between List/Map/Compass/Details in one keypress or
live without onboard filtering. The only time I use another app is
when I find myself somewhere where I did not plan to be. And it is
sooo painful to use any other app.

My only issue currently is that i am trying to create a favorites list
for an upcoming trip. The caches are 150 miles from home. I can see
them on the map but I cannot mark them as favorites on the map. I
cannot see them in the list because that would require showing all
caches which seem to come out in no particular order. Finding the
30-40 caches I want to mark as fovorites is difficult from a list of
5000 random caches.

So it would be nice to select a cache on the map and then select 'Show
list Here' based at these coordinates.

Of course being able to mark a cache as a favorite from the map or
details would work as well.

I know about the problem you describe and entered it as an issue some time ago:

I'm not working on the app now so unless someone else steps in, don't expect progress anytime soon.

Note that you *can* mark a cache as favorite from the "compass" tab. Tap the star on the right-hand side and it'll go green to show that the cache is now a favorite.
