geo hunter keeps crashing on map page

I have this installed on an orange San Francisco (ZTE Blade) and the
first time i ran it, it was fine, went and downloaded a bunch of GPX
files from our premium account, and showed them on the map. all was
good. now, every time i load the app, it crashes within seconds of
going into map view.

any ideas how i can resolve this?
it was great the first time i ran it, but now it's useless...
