urgent need for a substitute instructor: meteorology and climatology

Hello everyone,
We met during GEOG Articulation this past May, but as a reminder, I am the chair of the Department of Geography and Geology at Langara College. I hope that you are having an enjoyable summer.
I am contacting you today as we are urgently searching for a substitute instructor to cover an anticipated instructor absence during the Fall semester. In order to protect the privacy of the instructor, I am unable to provide specific details regarding the absence.
It is expected that the period of absence will commence in the first week of September, and will be of uncertain duration.
While the instructor is absent, we are in need of a substitute instructor (or instructors) to teach the following classes:
• GEOG 1180 (Introduction to Meteorology, Climatology and Biogeography): Mondays 1230 – 1420, Wednesdays 1230 – 1330, Thursdays 0930 – 1320 (2 sections). Fully on-campus.
• GEOG 2280 (Climate and Climate Change): Tuesdays 1230 – 1420, Thursdays 1230 – 1520 (1 section). Fully on-campus.
• GEOG 1180 (Introduction to Meteorology, Climatology and Biogeography: this section will be delivered in an asynchronous online format via Brightspace (1 section).
The substitute instructor(s) will also have to schedule office hours at the rate of 1.0 hours per week per section. It is also a requirement that the substitute instructor have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in the subject area, and related teaching experience is preferred.
