Hello All! 

In July, we raised £115 of our £300 monthly target at GoFundMe https://gofund.me/004071f0

Thanks to everyone who has made a donation towards the staff costs involved in running the list updates. Thanks also to the team (Naiade and Marcus) behind infog...@gmail.com, who do the hard work. 

This ongoing research also directly supports the @geoengineering1 twitter, and informs and inspires the "Reviewer 2 Does Geoengineering" podcast. Our alerts are then often redistributed by third parties - snowballing communication, to keep the research community informed.

Unfortunately, in July we only raised just over a third of the money needed, with contributions from 7 donors. This leaves me to cover the substantial cost shortfall personally. That's unlikely to be a sustainable position. Naturally, I'm keen to carry on providing this service, as I believe that it helps improve awareness of the field, and communication of research within it.

In August, we raised only £50 of the £300 monthly target, at https://gofund.me/004071f0

This money helps fund all the updates from infog...@gmail.com and @geoeng_info/@geoengineering1 twitter. I take no salary or stipend. 

While the generosity of contributing donors is gratefully received, the shortfall is now almost as much as my mortgage. Clearly, I won't be able to carry on providing this service to the same standard, without more support from list members. 

While I understand that readers have widely varying circumstances, please do support this fundraiser if you value the list updates, and want them to continue.
