You can now submit a session for the 2027 Degrees Global Forum on SRM! The submission window is open until 30 October 2026 at 23:59 UTC.
The Forum aims to foster both academic and generalist discussions of SRM and its implications, using a range of session formats. The conference will feature plenary sessions and parallel sessions of 75 minutes.
Submissions are not limited to academic discussions. We welcome contributions from participants across diverse fields, including NGOs, policy, and media, as well as a rich variety of perspectives. You can review the agenda for the 2025 Global Forum to get an idea of the sessions at the last conference.
This round of submissions is only for sessions. Submissions for individual talks, posters and other contributions will open in December.
Traditional panels and research presentations are welcome, as are innovative formats. Examples could include, but are not limited to:

- Fishbowl discussions: a conversational format where a small group discusses a topic in the centre of the room while others listen and can join in by replacing someone in the circle.
- World café: a structured conversational process where participants discuss topics at small tables, rotating between them to build on each other's ideas.
- Lightning talks: brief, high-energy presentations lasting only a few minutes each, allowing multiple speakers to share ideas quickly.
- Interactive workshops: hands-on sessions that engage participants in problem-solving or collaborative activities, focusing on skill-building and shared learning.
