Nice work on your second post! Really enjoyed this one, and I think the quasi-academic (citations etc.) style really suits what you're going for on the medium.
I must admit some parts I had to read over a few times since I'm fairly new myself to the topic, and the conditions you noted at the end for when modelling knowledge networks in quasi-isolation is valid didn't immediately land. Overall though great explainer for a variety of social science topics relevant for SRM research.
The only bit of feedback that comes to mind is perhaps a figure or two (diagram?) might be nice. I'm sure there's neat ways of visualizing knowledge networks. Obviously actually constructing one for SRM research would itself be a bit of a research project, but maybe a rough illustrative figure would be good to help readers grok what you're describing. You could probably poach one from Latour on actor network theory and get away with it in the blog format :P
