Atlantic temperatures

Hi All

The impact of the recently circulated data on North Atlantic sea surface temperature was reduced by the sloping pointer from the July 19 date which could imply that the peak was past.  I have deleted it from the image below which shows the true increased upward acceleration.

Please forward it to those of your dear leaders who might be able to understand it.

I got worried about deleting the July 19 line until I found  this    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYYF0XkhHiQ

It shows day-by-day growth of the graph which stops at 19 July with no down slope.

I wonder what the y axis would read if the anomaly was calculated with respect to the 1850-1900 mean, or better still the truly pre-industrial 1720-1800 mean. 

Isn't it just magical that the 1.5C magic mark never gets crossed on graphs, even for this regional dataset!
