Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to share with you two publications that C2G has recently published:

  • A briefing note on Solar Radiation Modification (SRM) as addressed in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Working Group II report: Climate Change 2022 - Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability. Summarizing key findings from the report’s assessment of SRM and providing C2G’s initial analysis of the policy implications. Use this link to read the briefing note https://www.c2g2.net/wp-content/uploads/20220308-C2G-Brief-AR6_WG2_SRM_EN.pdf

We plan to publish a range of knowledge materials and activities over the coming months. You can visit and bookmark our dedicated webpages for both the IPCC AR6  using this link https://www.c2g2.net/intergovernmental-panel-on-climate-change/ and recently launched "Managing the risk of temperature overshoot" thematic webpage linked here https://www.c2g2.net/managing-the-risk-of-temperature-overshoot/ where you will find different language versions of the publications and other useful resources.

Best regards,
