ABSTRACT
Large polluting corporations and other powerful actors of the capitalist economy propose to take control of the global thermostat through climate geoengineering, which is a technological approach involving large-scale intentional interventions in the earth’s oceans, soils, and/or atmosphere. Geoengineering carries significant new risks to communities, their livelihoods, and the environment. This chapter presents the voices of those who are impacted by climate chaos and have organized to fight against these dangerous technologies.
