This week (Monday - Wednesday), The Community Climate Intervention Strategies (CCIS) project in collaboration with various community members is hosting the workshop "Designing Scenarios for Climate Intervention Strategies" at NCAR and online. Anyone is welcome to follow along with presentations and main room discussions via Youtube webcast. Recordings will also be available the week after the workshop. Dear Simone and colleagues
Thanks for sharing this workshop announcement. It sounds like a fantastic opportunity to explore possible futures with SRM. I see great utility in also bringing such scenario-based deliberations into an explicitly international context and venue and would be happy to explore what this could look like. For example, I am a member of the global network climate strategies and continually active in UN climate talks (but I could also imagine other venues might lend themselves to this).
