Reminder: CIEIF EIA-focused grants, application deadline - December 1; plus CIEIF now has tax-free charitable status

On June 21, 2026, the Climate Intervention Environmental Impact Fund (CIEIF) announced its sixth round of grantmaking, https://cieif.org/news/. CIEIF will make three grant awards of US$75,000 each. 

Reminder: Deadline for applications is December 1, 2026. 

Innovative climate intervention projects worldwide in need of funding for environmental impact assessment (EIA), impact modeling, and/or public-stakeholder outreach are encouraged to apply. Details of the strict EIA-focused eligibility requirements are at: cieif.org/what-we-do and cieif.org/guidelines-for-grant-applicants/.  

Also, on September 21 CIEIF announced its transition from a family fund to a fiscally-sponsored project. To expand its funding and long-term impact, CIEIF is partnering with Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs (SEE), a long-established public charity based in Calabasas, California, that is exempt from Federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
