django.contrib.gis.gdal.error.OGRException: Invalid geometry pointer returned from "OGR_F_GetGeometryRef".

When trying to load a shp file into my model I get this error:

I'm pretty sure the MULTIPOLYGON geometry field I use is correct,
because I've polygons and If I change to POLYGON I get
TypeError: cannot set Catasto GeometryProxy with value of type: <class
'django.contrib.gis.geos.collections.MultiPolygon'>

what's the problem? How can I solve it?
