Hi,

I know this a known issue, (see this post), the OsGeo4W installer for Windows does not include the sqlite3 compiled with RTree enable. However I have not found how to avoid this problem. I think I have to compile sqlite3 myself but I never done that before.

Anybody have been through this problem and can provide a step by step solution?

Thank you for your help!

The solution can be found inside this osgeo4w-bug-track: http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo4w/ticket/305

osgeo4 add a deprecated sqlite3.dll in Python DLL directory. You have to delete it.
